At the beginning of 2019 a new standard for functional safety in the entertainment industry was released – the standard EN 17206. This is the first standard defining a framework for functional safety specifically for the entertainment industry.

This standard addresses all persons working in the entertainment industry and places where stages are used, like stage operators, theatre managers or stage technician as well as manufacturers of safety components who would like to learn more about the new functional safety requirements and how to apply it.
