Jump on old Dyneema rope
Fatal mistakes in working with the rope
This episode took place in Egypt. Old Dyneema rope (6 or 8mm) was used for a jump which brings quite heavy load for ultra static rope. Why the load is heavy read here: Impact force in a fall and Impact time.
One more thing is that rope was really old. The result is on the video.

Accident - Dyneema rope breakage fall
Summary
Never use ultra static ropes for dynamic loads like fall arrest and other cases where rope catch the performer after fall. Any actions with Fall Factor 1 or higher are not good for Dyneema, Tech12 and other ultra static ropes.
Do not use knots on Dyneema. Splice it right: End splice.
